Letter To the Editor: Progress in Afghanistan --- “An Exit Strategy From Afghanistan” (editorial, Oct. 21) suggests that America needs a face-saving exit from Afghanistan. We feel that your analysis is too pessimistic, underestimating Afghanistan’s transformation over the last decade. Yes, corruption is a problem, and yes, inclusive peace is not imminent.
