Queen Elizabeth celebrates turning 90 by taking a beautiful picture with the newest generation of royals - The Week
Queen Elizabeth is turning 90 on Thursday, and to celebrate, she's giving the public a gift in the form of a photo with her adorable great-grandchildren and youngest grandchildren.
The photo, shot by Annie Leibovitz, was taken in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle. It features her two youngest grandchildren, Lady Louise, 12, and James, Viscount Severn, 8, as well as great-grandchildren Mia Tindall, 2, holding the Queen's handbag; Savannah, 5, and Isla Phillips, 3; and, of course, Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 11 months. The princess is in the Queen's arms in the tradition of royal portraiture.
Earlier in the week, Buckingham Palace released a montage of 90 photographs, one for each of the Queen's 90 years. - Read More at theweek
