Victorious Trump tells New Hampshire voters: 'You started it'
Donald Trump delivered a smiling and gracious victory speech after a decisive win Tuesday in the New Hampshire primary.
He began by thanking a number of family members living and dead, including his wife and children standing on stage behind him. "We want to thank the people of New Hampshire. Don’t we love the people of New Hampshire?" Trump said at his Granite State speech.
"I want to thank you. I love you. We are going to be back. You started it, remember, you started it.”
While much of Trump's candidacy has been defined by headline-grabbing barbs with his rivals, in his speech he praised both his opponents and the Republican National Committee.
"We have to thank the candidates, we have some really talented people," Trump said. "We have some real talent in the Republican Party. The RNC and [Chairman] Reince [Priebus], we want to thank everybody."
He went on to deliver a condensed, version of his typical stump speech, vowing to bring jobs back from overseas, make "great" trade deals, and take the fight to the Islamic extremists. - Read More at thehill
