President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said in his remarks at the BRICS Summit yesterday evening in Ufa, Russia that war in Afghanistan threatens security and state systems in the region.

In the meetings that were attended by leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, the President said that although Afghanistan occupies a prominent place in the narrative and activities of terrorist networks, their harm could reach beyond the borders of the country and threaten security of India, China, Russia and other neighboring countries.  -  More at the BRICS Summit
