Afghan parliament comes under militants’ attack

KABUL (Pajhwok): A group of suicide bombers stormed the building of Wolesi Jirga or lower house of parliament on Darul Aman road in the capital Kabul on Monday morning, eyewitnesses said.

The incident took place when general session of Wolesi Jirga was underway. Eyewitnesses said the gate of the house was targeted by heavy explosives, which was followed by gunfire.
