KABUL, Afghanistan — Three suicide bombers struck the center of a provincial capital in southwestern Afghanistan on Tuesday as people were thronging the bazaar to shop for the coming Muslim holiday that ends the month of Ramadan, killing at least 29 people, according to provincial officials, who said the numbers of dead were likely to rise.
