If Fareed Zakaria ["Coming to terms with Karzai," op-ed, April 12] would like Americans to continue sending our aid and, more significantly, our service members to Afghanistan, he should accept that President Obama owes our citizens and international partners a fair public assessment of Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai.
