Jones: Well, I don't think the U.S. strategy is designed to solve the problems in Afghanistan. I think, ultimately, Afghans will solve the problems, and that is what we really want to set up, is the opportunity for Afghan to take charge of their own destiny and determine their future. All we can do is set the conditions to allow that to happen, and that really is not only what the U.S. is about, but I think 44 countries that are here are trying to do that in as short a time as possible so that Afghans can be in full control of their destiny. - 'Good Governance Is Best Defense Against Afghan Insurgency'
