GENEVA (AFP)--The U.N.'s human rights chief has urged the Afghan government to revoke new legislation that targets women in a way "reminiscent of the decrees made by the Taliban regime." "This is another clear indication that the human rights situation in Afghanistan is getting worse, not better," said Navi Pillay, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, in a statement issued Thursday.
