Gates Foundation, Bloomberg set $500M anti-smoking effort

The Seattle-based Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will commit $125 million over five years. Bloomberg’s foundation will donate $250 million over the next four years. The total commitment includes a $125 million pledge made by Bloomberg two years ago.
